Pay - $31 - $35 based on exp.

Job Description: Physical Therapy Assistant is expected to perform the following duties.
- Preparing for each patient’s therapy
- Assisting in the transportation of patients when moving to or from a treatment area
- Ordering depleted supplies
- Reading patient evaluations
- Being very familiar with the Plan of Care the physical therapist set in place for any given patient and, if need be, relaying any concerns about the Plan of Care
- Administering balance and muscle strength tests
- Administer manual exercises, massage or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength or decrease or prevent deformity
- Record prognosis, treatment, response and progress in patient's chart or computer database
- Stay up to date on continuing education and attend continuing education courses or seminars
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year PTA experience
- Reliable transportation
- Must have valid Physical Therapy Assistant license/certificate in the state in which applying for work
- Must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Exceptional patient therapy skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
- Team oriented
